Certificate and Diploma Courses in Sanskrit Language
Central Sanskrit University (CSU) has been grateful to IITH for organizing a Certificate and Diploma course in Sanskrit Language at the IITH premises.
CSU courses are run together by the Dept. of Heritage Science and Technology (HST) and the IKS Cell.
Certificate course started in October 2022 and has completed its first batch. The second batch is running now.
Diploma course has started its first batch in October 2023, and is running now.
Course Fees: Rs 1200/- for each course.
These courses are special as these are not bounded by the Fractal curriculum and everyone including people outside IITH are allowed to register for these courses.
Our Acharya
Dr. Avijit Ghosh has undertaken this responsibility of teaching the entire course.
He is brilliant and enthusiastic. Completed his PhD from Pondicherry University, Master of Arts (Integrated - BA Hons + MA) in Sanskrit at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Belur Math, Howrah, West Bengal. He appreciates the innovative culture at IITH and would love to interact with IITH students and other IITH family members.

There are two batches for Certificate and Diploma course each: Weekend and Weekdays.
Each batch has 2 classes per week.
